I have used MS Word multiple times, and I honestly couldn't imagine how difficult it would be for teachers, or almost anyone, to do things before MS Word. I use it for almost everything that I can use it for. I write term papers on it; I make grocery or to-do lists on it; I even jot down miscellaneous notes on it.

I have seen teachers use MS Word for many reasons but the one thing that most all of my teachers seem to use it for is to make outlines. Its pretty basic but it helps me and seems to help the other students stay on task and also keep focused. They have also made our tests and quizzes from it multiple times because it's just convenient and easy. One of the cooler things I've seen done on MS Word was someone make a menu on it. I thought that was pretty exciting and unique and I had no idea that you could do really cool stuff like that on it.

In the class, I have learned so many things about MS Word that I literally had no idea you could do. I thought it was cool that you can combine objects and also change the colors. The watermark thing was pretty interesting too. Also, I may have just been very far behind on computers but I had no idea of all the interesting things that you could do with shapes.
